Very cute set of mittens, the crochet edges give them that gorgeous little Jane Austen look. They are knitted in the round using the magic loop technique. You can use dpn’s if you prefer, but I highly recommend the magic loop. That way you don’t see the breaks at the dpn intersections, the work is nice and neat, it’s gorgeous. Last but not least, the huge advantage of these mittens is that you only need one skein of yarn. Yes, for both!
- These mittens were knitted in Lang's "Baby Alpaca" 100% Alpaca (50g/169m) (1.76oz/185yds) but you can use any yarn that matches the gauge. One skein is enough for the pair
